On the agenda was the topic of Smart City, initiatives which present an opportunity for cities/municipalities to leverage data and technology to improve outcomes, experiences, and efficiency for inhabitants and visitors. Similarly, with retailers, like Walmart, and tech giants, like Apple, making moves in the healthcare market, there is an expectation that mobile and device use will play a very major role in the future of healthcare technology and how personal health data is consumed.
In recent years, the rapid advances in technology have significantly altered the potential and augmentation of IT talent. The experts examined how future jobs will be in the region. The IT recruitment has changed from 9-to-5 desk jobs to remote-working at global hours. The panelists offered solutions for the augmentation of IT resources for optimal utilization.
The panelists at Emerging Tech Trends discussed new market and technology opportunities. The core technologies of tomorrow such as AI, ML, blockchain and IoT have an impactful role to play in Fintech, Health Tech, AgriTech, CleanTech, etc. The future implementations and innovation to streamline existing processes and creating new technologies were explored by the corporate and government sector tech leaders.
