Background:

For an enterprise centered around fostering close bonds through sensory experiences, a well-oiled middleware—particularly the Data Hubs and Activation system—is of great importance. Moreover, GN aimed to explore and implement a recommendation engine to deliver more personalized and intuitive user experiences.

How we intervened:

Virtual Force’s team worked on developing recommendation engines for GN Jabra and the Datahub Activation platform. The recommendation engine we have developed comprises three key components: Product-to-Product, Customer-to-Product and Configuration-to-Product. 

The Product-to-Product Recommendations utilizes sales trends to suggest products to new customers. In the Customer-to-Product Recommendations, the engine constructs detailed user profiles based on product preferences to provide tailored recommendations. Lastly, the Configuration-to-Product Recommendations analyzes customer-specific needs and supported configurations to offer the most suitable product recommendations.

DataHubs and Activations Platform:​

DataHubs, our central platform, serves as the backbone of the organization, offering scalable middleware for seamless integration with over a dozen diverse systems, such as Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, D365 F&O, Navision, Zendesk, Optimove, Pardot, and Tealium to name a few. This versatile solution for GN facilitates both periodic and real-time synchronization, playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
