Building an Intelligent Quality Inspection System​

For Ameri Polish, a leading surface polishing and finishing company, Virtual Force developed a multi-phase AI-powered system to modernize how surface quality is measured and controlled.​ From reflectivity analysis to predictive gloss measurement—and upcoming defect detection—the solution replaced manual processes with a scalable, data-driven platform that improves consistency, reduces rework, and accelerates production decisions.​

Challenge Faced by Ameri Polish: Inconsistent Quality & Manual Processes​

Ameri Polish relied on multiple independent quality checks such as DOI (surface clarity), floor-level categorization, and gloss measurements, which created several operational challenges, including inconsistent results due to manual inspection, lack of standardization across different quality metrics, difficulty maintaining high-quality output at scale, time-consuming inspection and rework cycles, and limited visibility into what drives surface quality; therefore, the need was clear for a unified, intelligent system to bring consistency and efficiency into quality control.
